So below you will find my Bucket List. When I started out on this journey I thought that perhaps I’d just travel for a year, then I realized that it could take a lifetime to fulfill all of these… so here’s to traveling for life!
This post is constantly changing, so check back often for updates 🙂
Co-pilot an airplane This was a great experience. I flew from Vancouver, BC to Okanagan, BC Wine Tasting in Napa Valley
Disney World, Orlando Florida USA
Grand Canyon National Park.
See the White House.
An Alaskan Cruise, I have no specific requirements regarding this at the time. I just know that I want to go!
Machu Picchu, I’m legit studying how to avoid elevation sickness and deciding how much of this I actually want to hike. I also want to hold a sloth while I’m in the area. Eek!
Tour Old Havana , eat classic Cuban food and do an epic photo shoot with colorful backdrops and vintage cars. Go see The Lion King on Broadway in New York City!
Relax for a whole week in Costa Rica. While this sounds like a simple and economical request, the key word is “relax”. I am not a relaxing traveler. I’m typically ripping and running, trying to accumulate all of the experiences I can. I want to go to this beautiful and happy place. Land in an all inclusive resort and do nothing but read, get massages, watch sunsets and sunrises, eat good food, drink good drinks and meet good people.
Set my eyes on the Eiffel Tower and do all things Paris! Visit the D-day Beaches, Museum & World War II Cemetery. Bathe Elephants in Thailand.
Visit Angkor Wat in Cambodia
Ride a camel in Dubai.
Go to an authentic Boston Market. I’d love to spend some extended time in a Mexican Beach Town, learn more about the culture, eat way too much authentic Mexican food and drink way too many Margaritas. Yum! Visit Sigiriya Rock in Sri Lanka Tour Cape Henry Lighthouse in Virginia Beach. Ride in a San Francisco Cable Car.
Can we talk about the Lighthouses of Maine? I love, love, love lighthouses and this will be the most epic lighthouse fix!
I’m looking forward to the day I visit Australia and have a Kangaroo somewhere in the background of my photo.
The 17 mile Drive up Highway 101 California USA. Travel up the Coast of Oregon. Visit Salem Massachusettes While I’ve visited Boston and absolutely loved it, including the tours of grave sites including Paul Revere’s….I’ve got to get to Salem and preferably in the month of October. Did I mention that I LOVE old and or scenic and historic cemeteries and anything paranormal and slightly spooky? Salem, I’m coming for you! Disney Land! This was an act of re-parenting myself. Something that I’m dedicated to doing.
I’ve got to go on a Safari, my preference is somewhere in South Africa. And if I were to dream UP a notch I’d want to witness the great migration in Serengeti. Ah, the thought of this one nearly brings tears to my eyes. I want to goooo!!!!!
Tour Alcatraz Island. So another thing I’m obsessed with is correctional facilities. I won’t put a tour of Angola as an official Bucket List item, but I wouldn’t be mad if I ended up there. In the meantime I’ll stick to watching documentaries; however Alcatraz was on my list and I fulfilled it. To add icing on the cake I went at night, with a Paranormal Ghost Hunting Group. Can we say Geeked?!
I’d love to spend a week or two in Montana during the Spring season. Yes, you read it correctly Montana.
Live a few months in The UK Live in Northern California. Visit Whitney Plantation in Wallace, La.
So have you done any of these things or want to do any of them? Tell me about your bucket list and travel adventures.
