One of the biggest apprehensions that I hear about from day to day when it comes to traveling, is having no one to go with. This saddens me as I know the frustration that comes with this dilemma.
If I’m going to be completely honest I have to say that it also annoys me a little, as I know that it really shouldn’t be the reason that a person forfeits their dream of travel. Had I waited around on others to travel, I never would have gone to half of the places that I have.
One thing that is a very legitimate concern in regard to solo travel, is safety. I often times mention the fact that I’m no Spring Chicken out here conquering this nomadic lifestyle. One edge that my age gives me is wisdom. I tend to lean on that, a little strategy, and a lot of careful planning.
I wanted to offer you some tips on staying safe while traveling solo, so I’ve created Safety First…A Smart Guide for Women who Travel Solo.
In this brief guide, I discuss a few of the things that I do personally, that you can keep in mind and remember when traveling solo.
“Fear and the lack of participation from others shouldn’t stop you from going out and conquering your travel dreams.”
